Long time comin
Mom has been here for over a week now, but I am just now getting around to posting anything. She has been all over her grandchild, thats for sure! It has been great having her as I haven’t seen her since the wedding. For Easter we spent some time with the cousins, who had a photo studio set up in the house so we decided to have a shoot! Some of the shots turned out real nice.
Hard to believe the munchkin is 2 months. She is looking like a toddler already with her big self. Grandma coming to town this week!

She’s a month and a half already. Don’t ask why I chose to highlight this pseudo-milestone instead of say, 1 month… I have realized that having a baby means you get to certain things when you can get to them… so dang it we are celebrating 6 weeks 😉 Some shots of course:

So I was supposed to dress Tahlia up to leave the house in some yellow outfit that Mommy assigned for me. This is what I put together, complete with yellow headband which people tell me was too low and made her look like some kind of fitness guru or aerobics lady. Anyway everyone seemed to think these were funny so I will share them here. Also pictured here (for the first time of many I’m sure) is Tahlia with her cousin LJ(stripes) and nephew Ezekiel (blue), who I have collectively dubbed the Squad… as in Don’t mess with the Squid-ad son! we will fall asleep and drool on you!
Dad was in town to visit Tahlia for the first time. It was short but we enjoyed having him. We didn’t have a whole lot of time so there weren’t many pictures… In any event Dad is retiring soon so there will be plenty more opportunity to get more shots!

We have received a lot of gifts for Tahlia and we appreciate them all. However my good friend Shaun outdid himself and made this for Tahlia, a 3-D paper scene in a picture frame. He has tried to downplay it but I was genuinely touched at the gesture… Here is Tahlia enjoying her gift:
