19 AugTahlia & the Medicine

Tahlia was a little cranky the other night, and I thought it was her teeth bothering her. So I tried to give her some baby’s ibuprofen, which she didn’t like a whole lot. The faces she was making were so funny I had to tape it.  I even played around with some video software to add music and stuff. Watch her face, she is hilarious!

19 AugTali’s First Piñata

We took Tahlia to our friend Elyas’ birthday party (Tia Marivel’s nephew)and I guess they thought she should have a turn at the piñata, so Daddy took her up to get a swing. She even got to wear a hat and sing Happy Birthday.

15 AugIs that a tooth I see?!

07 AugBye Bye Auntie Rach

07 AugTahlia’s Dedication Day

This past Sunday Tahlia had her dedication prayer delivered by Pastor Robert L. Manaway, who also married Mommy and Daddy. Auntie Belly and Uncle Brook were there as well as her sister Moni, nephew Ezekiel God Mom Marivel and her Aunt Rachael who made it in from Bermuda to be there! It is a blessing that my baby is under God’s watchful eye and I plan to be the best father and protector I can be as Pastor Manaway detailed in his prayer.

Afterwards we went out and had a big brunch and met up with our friends Nguyet & Jay and their daughter Kiana. Fun times were had by all!

28 Jul6 months!

My little girl is 6 months! Halfway to a year.  She had her shots yesterday and was not a happy camper. Before that though I took her to the park with her cousin Josiah:

She really likes him 🙂

16 JulThank You Auntie Christie & Uncle Linkey!

Many thanks to my cousin Christie – and my Aunt I – who sent over a bunch of Bermuda gear for Tahlia. Mommy and Daddy are happy that she can rep the Island a little bit up here now! She also got to meet her Uncle Linkey when we went over to Tia Marivel’s house.

Who’s that??

It was a little late, give her a break for not smiling 🙂

The whole crew!

15 JulYay Food!

Tali is at that stage where everything looks good enough to eat. She started solid food not too long ago, and really loves it… I mean look at how happy she is to have some apple sauce. That is, when she can keep it in her mouth!

It’s funny watching another human being having to learn the concept of eating and keeping the food in your mouth. Another thing, she is so aware of the camera that it makes it hard to take candids. I want to tell her “Just keep doing what you’re doing!” This is what I get instead:

04 JulHappy 4th of July!

Tali is not letting the gloomy Seattle weather bring her down!

27 Jun5 months

She’s 5 months! How time flies…

Tahlia made breakfast for Daddy on their first Father’s Day together. Mommy helped a little.

We took her down to Portland for a mini-vacation this past week. Tali really liked being in the hotel room!

Somebody was pooped after the ride back! Laid out with one of her buddies..
