This past Saturday Mommy spent so much time getting the place ready for our little girl. I guess that was the signal because her water broke early Sunday morning and we were off to the hospital. 21 hours later we were blessed with a healthy, beautiful baby girl. I still can’t believe it! As you can see, she looks exactly like her Mom, who did a really, really good job considering how much she went through during labor. I was so proud of her. Our friend Marivel was also there and was a big help. She was on picture duty and got a lot of good ones! Here are just some of them:

The big day draws nearer and Mommy and Daddy are getting anxious. But STILL no contractions or any other tell tale signs that she is on her way. Actually, there is one: Mommy has overnight become Nesting Warrior Queen. Curtains! Picture frames! Wall stickers! Don’t just stand there, do something! lol .. just kidding about the last one. Still the woman is a machine. We’ll see how long Tahlia makes her wait. All I know is that this girl is geared UP.
I really can’t wait to meet her and get to know this brand new extension of myself. We’re all waiting little one.

Mommy wasn’t showing very much until December hit, then the bump was pretty obvious! They say the baby does most of the growing in the last month.

Well, I didn’t think I’d be one of these people. But such is life. In less than 2 months(!) I will be a daddy, and everything changes. I can’t wait! This blog is for all the family and friends who cannot be a part of Tahlia’s life as much as they want to, and Lord knows there are a lot of you. Check back here for updates and milestones, and everything leading up to the big day!
So far Tahlia almost has more stuff than Daddy.
